Minnesota Revenue announces process for one-time rebates

The MN Department of Revenue has announced the process it will use to send out nearly 2.4 million rebate payments to Minnesotans. There is no need to apply, as the department will use the tax year 2021 individual income tax or property tax refund returns to determine eligibility. MN Revenue will use the address and/or banking information provided on the 2021 mentioned tax returns to send rebates to eligible recipients. There is a new portal for taxpayers to use to update outdated information by July 28th. The portal can be accessed from this link. taxrebate.mn.gov
